For the past two months we have released two beers in our Six Ways series. Now it’s time for one more. Coco Nut is coming your way!
Here at Dugges Bryggeri we have fantastic brewers. Each have their own specific function and talent. They work together like a well oiled machinery. So, what would happen if each of the brewers got free hands to do what they wanted with a beer? That was the starting point for Six Ways Imperial Stout.
Six thousand liters of a sturdy 10% ABV Imperial Stout was brewed. After fermentation we split the batch into equal parts of one thousand liters. Then, the brewers creativity took over. Every possible way of refinement stood open to them. And, they all took a different one.
Calle has created Coco Nut. Resting on toasted and natural coconut has given the beer a chocolate praline feel and taste. Satisfyingly rich!
The other ways are:
Hop Hop Hop is Robins way. Dry-hopped to the max with three types of American hops. The result is an imperial stout with real bite! Somewhere in between the most powerful Black IPA you’ve ever had and a lovely dream.
Ola’s Vanilla Oak has barrel character without barral ageing with a grown up sweetness. The scent says one thing. Desert sweet, nutty and creamy. The taste says something else. Oaky, robust and fully grown. It’s simply multidimentionall!
Our Australian Jarrad har with his Cherry Wood produced a Cherry dream. Packed with cherry wood and cherries. Beautiful as Sakura!
David’s Rasberry Liqorice is an homage to the classic Fifty Fifty-lollipop. Raspberry and Licorice in a lovely symbiosis. Suck it!
Magnus has let Belgian Coffee ferment a second time with muscovado sugar and Belgian yeast. Then the beer was left resting on insane amounts of coffee. A treat in itself!
We are going to release these beers through Systembolaget and through Brill & Co.
