Imperial Cinnamon Stout
Liquid cake. That’s exactly what this is. It has all the complexities of your dark holiday favorites. Thick, creamy, vanilla, chocolate, coconut… and cinnamon of course. Cinnamon that really ties the beer together. Festive!
Magnus here at the brewery had been toying around with the idea for a cinnamon stout for quite some time before we brewed this one. There’s something really intuitive about putting cinnamon in a dark beer. Even in theory, it just seems to work. Turns out, it works in practice too. We backed up the cinnamon with some cocoa, vanilla and coconut. To really build and layer the flavors. We think this is a year round holiday beer. If that makes any sense.
