Citra is a hop variety that we currently use quite regularly at the brewery. Right now, most breweries do. Chinook was a hop that we used a lot back when we got started. Maybe one can see the change in usage from a really piny hop to a citrusy hop as a timeline of what craft beer consumers like and have liked. Maybe it’s more complex than that. The idea with this beer, however, was simple: To bring the two hops together in a really drinkable beer, showcasing the best of both worlds. Could just be the case that the combination of old and new is the future. Enjoy!
