We brewed a coffee stout as part of a journey. A journey towards perfection, towards utopia. A Grand canvas colored with da Matteo coffee. For any cuppy needs. We let som of that beer rest on freshly emptied Cognac barrels to enrich it even further. You know, for any avecy needs. Sipper!
The short story is that Coffee is one of two inaugural stouts that was first brewed for us at Dugges under the Twelve Percent beer project in the USA. We’ve done a bunch of coffee stouts so it just seemed the right thing to do while introducing our first US brewed stouts to the public. We loved that beer so much we decided to brew it again, at our own place in Landvetter, Sweden. Coffee was probably the best coffee stout we’ve ever done! So, what do you do with the best coffee stout you’ve ever done? Well, you rest it on freshly emptied cognac barrels of course getting a dessert for grown up’s, a fire place sipper and a little something with what’s in your cup, all in one. Avec!
