In June 2020, we got an offer we could not refuse. The proposal
was to buy a bar. For years, we'd dreamt of our own place. And
we were over the moon when we could finally do it. Our own bar, Pils, was born.

Now, for Pils, we do one-off staff beers. Beers that each staff member takes turns designing, and then we brew. The turn has now come to our canning master, Kevin!

Kevin wanted to blow some life into and put his own touch on a beer-style close to his heart, the often forgotten and sometimes feared Schwartzbier. An intricate style to navigate with its dark color and roasted notes.

He opted for a less dry, chocolaty, freshly ground coffee and dried fruits variant. Single hopped with the citrusy yet traditional while still modern hop Mandarina Bavaria. All resulting in a thirst quencher for all seasons. Giving you just the right amount of oomph. Kevin!
