In 2016 we, as a brewery, went to the UK to do some events. Among them, a tap takeover at the lovely coffee, food and craft beer place Hunter & Sons in Bath. In fact, James – who ran the place – was the whole reason we were over in the UK at all, having connected us with the right people and the right events. To thank him, we brought him over to Sweden to help us brew the next iteration of our imperial coffee stout series. James picked a coffee from Round Hill Roastery, we discussed the recipe and Sidamo Dimtu was born. We loved it, so it was quickly decided that we, in the future, would do another coffee stout. The future is now. Though, during the time between Sidamo Dimtu and this beer, Kii – also made with a coffee from Round Hill Roastery – Hunter & Sons have had to close shop. So, this is our homage to them and all the wonderful things that they did. Cheers! Bottoms up! And, long live Hunter & Sons!
