Simon Says Citra
Pale Ale
Label text:
A beer that is two beers. Kinda. A strong pale ale with an English back bone hopped and dry hopped with only American hops. In two ways. All designed by brewer Simon. This is the Citra version, Simon says!
Story text:
Everyone at the brewery gets to do their own beer. ’Their own’ in a sense that it’s a style they like and tweaked the way they like it. It’s a kind of initiation rite that we have here at Dugges. We’ve had a chili IPA, a big barley wine and clean pilsner, to name a few. Simon got to do, not only one, but two beers. Well, kinda. The base beer is the same; pale ale on the stronger side with Cascade and Simcoe in the boil. After that we split the batch in two and dry hopped one part with Simcoe and the other part with Citra. Why? Well, because Simon said so.
