Hopped with Columbus, for some bitterness but the real star here is the Citra hop which gives the beer an aroma and taste experience of all that citrusy tropicalness you’ve come to love in west coast IPA’s. Northside!

Story text:

West Coast IPA:s never really went away. At least not from our minds. These kind of IPAs have been with us from the very beginning. Heck, they are what made us today! It was what got us into beer, what made us want to brew beer and we’ve always loved drinking them. Why we, briefly, stopped doing them is not entirely clear. Declining sales is obviously has one part in it but… anyway, we needed to start doing them again. So we did. The River is part of the third pair-offs we’ve done. The other beer in the pair is The Fort. Enjoy
