Triple IPA
Label text:
This beer is a collaboration with Fierce Beer. Together, we wanted to make a really sessionable big beer. Hoppy, light and delicate yet really packing a punch. The impossible made possible when two celestial bodies collide. Impact!
Story text:
Here at Dugges, we’re not really big on astrology, numerology and stuff like that. But sometimes, things just align. Like when, for our collaboration, Dave Grant from Fierce Beer asked us: Ever done a triple IPA? And, when we brewed it, it turned out it was our 999th batch. And, that 999 is triple 9. And that, and that, and that… you get it. Together we wanted to further explore the world of rice and Lupulin Powder with a mission of making an as easy-drinking, huge beer that you can make. A session triple IPA if you will. The fact that we made it 9.99% ALC by vol, used three types of hops, that we could have boiled the wort for 99.9min and that both boil and whirlpool at one time was 99.9°C just adds to the story really. Believe it or not.
