FRESH is our ever changing concept, idea and journey towards the perfect IPA in a world where our idea of the perfect IPA is ever changing. For FRESH7 we’ve tweaked the hop schedule slightly, upping the bitterness. We’ve added Kohatu hops for even more fruitiness. And, we’ve given the beer a slightly fuller mouthfeel!

Story text:

Embarking on a journey towards a super crisp, nicely sparkling and crushingly lush IPA. Super fruity with loads and loads and loads and loads of hops! That’s fresh! FRESH, was a 7.7% ABV, 70:30 pilsner malt, rice combo and Citra, Nelson hop bomb. For FRESH2, 7.3%, we altered the fermentation temp, tweaked the pilsner malt/rice bill to 69:31 and increased the amount of hops. FRESH3, 6.8% ABV, had a 65:35 pilsner malt/rice ratio, taking a step back with the fermentation temp., introducing Mosaic hops. For FRESH4, 7.2%, we switched between pilsner and pale ale malts. For FRESH5, 7.2%, we doubled the amount of hops! And, for FRESH6, 7.4% we turned the focus to Lupulin Powder
