When we think of easter, we think of complex aromas and flavors. We think of tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, pear, pine, citrus, watermelon, stone fruit, candy, and zesty tangerine reminiscent of marmalade. Eestar!
Many years ago, we started brewing a series of DIPAs called Crush. An ever-changing concept, idea, and journey toward the perfect DIPA in a world where our vision of that was ever-changing.
While Easter '23 is not part of the Crush series, it is an excellent continuance for, once again, aiming at that ever-changing perfect DIPA. It also embodies everything we've learned from dreaming up and brewing all our previous DIPAs. And it follows straight from our latest varieties, Supreme and Tiptop, albeit with a holiday twist.
So, what is the significant change this time? Well, hops! Easter '23 is not only bursting with all that holiday spirit. It's also smack dab full of El Dorado, Idaho 7, and Simcoe hops for a much-needed downtime juice.
