Our version of a drink mixer? No, that does not sound right. But, in a sense, this beer is. It's the recreation of a childhood memory of the taste of a soda, a soft drink, a pop, or whatever you want to call it. There used to be a lot of them in stores. They're probably still around. Challenging and rewarding at the same time. Naughty and nice.

To get to that sweet, sour, and bitter taste, we had in our heads into a beer, we turned to the grapefruit. It has all the suitable properties. It's Candyesque, puckering, and has a nice twangy bite.

The end result? Well, it indeed corresponds with our childhood memories. In the drink mixer analogy, it works well, on its own, without the spirit. And if you're into that sort of thing, or was as a kid, this beer's for you. It's like a soda for grown-ups, which I guess beer is, anyway. Mix!
