FRESH is our ever changing concept, idea and journey towards the perfect IPA in a world where our idea of the perfect IPA is ever changing. FRESH, was a 7.7% ABV, 70/30 Pilsner malt, Rice combo and Citra, Nelson Sauvin hop bomb. For FRESH2, 7.3% ABV, we altered the fermentation temp, tweeked the Pilsner malt/Rice bill to 69/31 and increased the amount of hops. FRESH3, 6.8% ABV, was tweeked to 65/35 Pilsner malt/Rice ratio, taking a step back with the fermentation temperature, introducing Mosaic hops. Now there’s FRESH4! The big thing is the direct switch between Pilsner and Pale Ale malts. So, a 65/35 Pale Ale malt/Rice combo with Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic and Citra hops, brought up to 7.2%! Gotta be fresh!
