FRESH is our ever changing concept, idea and journey towards the perfect IPA in a world where our idea of the perfect IPA is ever changing. FRESH5 - a little stronger than FRESH4 and double the hops! So, a 65:35 pale ale malt/rice combo with Nelson, Mosaic and Citra hops, brought up to 7.4%!

Story text:

Embarking on a journey towards a super crisp, nicely sparkling and crushingly lush IPA that is super fruity with loads and loads and loads of hops. That’s fresh. This is FRESH. Gotta be fresh!
FRESH, was a 7.7% ABV, 70:30 pilsner malt, rice combo and Citra, Nelson hop bomb. For FRESH2, 7.3% ABV, we altered the fermentation temp, tweaked the pilsner malt/rice bill to 69:31 and increased the amount of hops. FRESH3, 6.8% ABV, was tweeked to 65:35 pilsner malt/rice ratio, taking a step back with the fermentation temperature, introducing Mosaic hops. For FRESH4 we just did a direct switch between pilsner and pale ale malts.
