Saffron

Saffron is a beer that was the continuation of something wholly new and simultaneously building on a set foundation. It started in the US, where we brewed two stouts, Fudge and Coffee. We thought we were done there, but upon tasting them and thinking about them, we realized we had something remarkable on our hands, something we could play around with. So, the Grand series was born. 

Grand was a series of stouts, a canvas, that we colored as we went along. After the distinct tastes of Fudge, Coffee, Choco Chip, and Cake, we wanted to emulate the taste of a Lussebulle. And so we did.

Since discontinuing Grand for even more exploratory, explosive, and expressive imperial stouts, Saffron has always been a fan favorite and our most requested Christmas beer. So, we're bringing it back. Ho ho ho!
