This is an IPA in the FRESH series. A series where we explore all the different aspects of an IPA. For this version we’ve decided to try and morph our modern IPA FRESH into a West Coast style IPA by making it a bit more translucent and dry hopping it with classic Cascade hops. We think the end result is a new school old school/neo old and new school west coast-ish modern classic IPA… and, you know… a lot easier to drink than to define. IPA!
Story text:
Even though we’ve experimented a lot with FRESH, our new standard IPA, we still want to play around with the base beer. This is the second of many such experiments: CAS CADE - An IPA in the FRESH-series. A version where we wanted to try and make something more classic of something modern. So, we dry hopped it with the most classic American IPA hop of them all, Cascade and made it a bit clearer/lighter than it’s standard sibling. Easy!
