Let's just get it out of the way. Yes, sometimes almost all that changes from one beer to another (apart from the name) is the hop combo. And yes, this beer could be viewed as 'just' a variant of our IPA Lux. However, the hop combo is such a prominent feature of any beer. It's the shining star of the ingredients list. It's usually what makes or brakes it.

As with many beers, Gold started as a question: "Lux, but with Nelson Sauvin dry hop. And more of it?" The answer? ”Yes!" Had to try brewing it, needed to taste it, and wanted to learn something from it. Done, done, and done.

So, what about it? Incredible, a different beer altogether! For real. Maybe you get that Gold and Lux have the same malt base and are fermented using the same type of yeast. But Gold definitely holds its own and warrants its name as a stand-alone beer. It's unique, top-notch, and get's a medal. Podium!
