A few years back, we started a project called Spotlight. It was a chance for us to shine a light on Gothenburg culture. We did it because we love making beer with people we think do really cool stuff.

We've done a pilsner with artist Ollio, a French strawberry cake sour with vegan pastry outfit Doux Pastry, and a lager with sneaker store Shelta. For 2023, it's time for not one but two beers together with legendary music store MUG – Musik Utan Gränser. A store that this year is celebrating 50 years of string-bending, drum-hitting, and keyboard-licking!

We're doing a lager beer called Stiftet, taking its name from the MUG Friday after closing routine of having a beer with the guys in the store. And we're doing this IPA looking forward to another 50 years while paying tribute to the bulletin board the store used to have. Where pre-internet musicians could find bands, and bands could discover musicians. Unless you were Joey. Then you need not bother. To MUG, let your light shine forever!
