Jos
Hazy Pale Ale
Label text:
What is Jos? Well, it’s that hop juice. Those citrus fruits notes with pineapple and mango aromas and woody aromatic sweet flavors. Good morning!
Story text:
Sometimes, a beer takes a long time to figure out. You have an idea; ponder, try it out, and re-think. You add something, take it away, and add that something again. You make mistakes, bad ones, good ones, and ones that do not matter. Then, eventually, you have a finished beer.
Sometimes, it’s a hop combination that kicks things off.
Hop combinations are like most things; they come and go with trends, availability, and personal taste. This beer ticks all three boxes. We have Citra readily available. El Dorado and Idaho 7 are trending much broader than ever, and our collective ”personal” taste here at the brewery loves the combination of the three.
Having previously done a DIPA with a similar hop-combo, the turn came to a pale ale. An easy drinker that tastes like walking in a sundrenched though newly rained on pine forest. Luscious fruits are hanging from the trees, dripping with juice, and the dewy drops of recent rain run from the needles and hit the ground for an earthy, woody vibe. Juice!
